The equipment of our QMEDBIN research group is based on the needs of the research lines focused on Central Nervous System (CNS), Drug Delivery System and Parasitic Diseases to carry out the aims and proposals in the scope of Natural Products/Medicinal Chemistry/Bioinorganic Chemistry. The synthesis, chemical characterization and preparation of samples to be assessed in animal model and other experimental assays are to evaluate chemical and biological properties of novel compounds on the cytotoxicity, bioavailability and therapeutic effects in the treatment of chronic diseases, neurodegenerative dysfunction and mood disorders. Thus, these experimental data are primordial to get information on specific effects as selectivity and action time on in vitro and/or in vivo assays.
